To read this week:
I am going to try to read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte for the third time. I also checked out Final Exam by Maggie Barbieri (mystery set on a college campus).
Bought this week (!): I hardly ever buy books (I was raised in a family where we went to the library every week, which I still do, and thus we bought them very rarely)
Passion by Jude Morgan
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens
What are you reading?
I love the Graceling books! Soooo much fun.
ReplyDeleteI see several books there that I haven't heard of, so they need to be explored!

ReplyDeleteI want to read Graceling and Fire. Have a great reading week!
ReplyDeleteI will look forward to your review of Graceling.
ReplyDeleteI read Wuthering Heights for the first time last year and wasn't a big fan, I can't imagine reading it 3 times that's for sure!
I loved Graceling, and keep saying that I need to read Fire. I'll get to it one day! The same goes for the Elizabeth Peters series. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteHere are my books for the week.
Looks like you had a great week. I really need to read Graceling soon (my library copy is overdue). And Shakespeare's Landlord is among my many TBR books.
ReplyDeleteWuthering Heights is one of those books people seem to love or hate (<---me). I take it (since this is your 3rd time 'round) you're on the love side of things?
Happy Reading!
I have been meaning to read Graceling for a while I have heard good things about it. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've had a copy of The Pickwick Papers for YEARS now and have started it many times over, but never made it past the third chapter. BUT, I really want to read it! I mean, if Jo March can enjoy a book, I should be able to as well, right? LOL
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful reading week!
You have some great books to read. I like Jude Morgan. I haven't read Passion yet but I enjoyed An Accomplished Woman. I loved Outlander although it is an incredibly long book. I like Kristin Cashore's books although I prefer The Hunger Games series. I will have to check out your review of Token of Darkness. I saw that at the library a couple of weeks ago but didn't check it out. I hope you enjoy your reading this week.
ReplyDeleteHere is what I'm reading.
I haven't read any of these books! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are another one of the 'fast readers' - good for you.
Here’s what I’m reading this week:

Sorry, just to clarify-I have tried to read Wuthering Heights before but I have been unsuccessful. This is my third attempt at reading it-I've never gotten past the fifth chapter because I haven't enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteWow! You read a lot last week. I look forward to seeing all of the reviews. I hope you enjoy this week's list as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat books! Token of Darkness, Graceling, and Fire are all books I want to read. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I read: Not-Really-Southern Vamp Chick
