Covers: The Vespertine
I was interested to follow the changing covers for The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell. The first two are the initial designs while the bottom is the actual cover. I think I like the second one the most because the girl's face in the final looks odd; like everything else about her looks realistic but then her face looks more cartoonish. What do you think about the covers?
Review of The Vespertine coming next week!

I like the actual cover. I like the flowing dress and although I've only read half of the book (I read e-books so slowly), I can say that the cover fits the contents.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your review!
I actually just slightly hate the final cover. I don't know why but I think it's the face thing. The one at the top, the second cover they chose, that was my favourite. I'll still buy it though, I enjoyed the book. ^^
ReplyDeleteI love the final cover they chose, but it doesn't really seem to have all that much to do with the story. The first two relate to the book a lot better but I don't like them as much.
ReplyDeleteThis cover has the same model as the official Vespertine cover.
