I have only read a little bit of this book (I put it aside to get caught up on some other reading first) but I was not aware that there was a love triangle. I was under the impression that one of the men died on the Titanic. I know I won't like Lady Duff-Gordon but I am glad that there is more to her character than selfishness. I do love historical fiction and look forward to learning more about what happened during the trials. Colour me intrigued! :) I've only read one book based on the Titanic before and I absolutely LOVED it, so I'm really glad there's another one out there! Although it's too bad that the characters in The Dressmaker (especially the love interests) didn't impress you.

Thanks so much for the beautiful honest review, B! <3 I'm actually kind of the opposite -- I ALWAYS try to read both negative and positive reviews before buying a book. It helps me make my decision more solid LOL! :)Mimi Valentinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04241457025232914551noreply@blogger.com
